It may happen that there is a dirty ink cartridge that needs to be cleaned or replaced. This can jam the paper while printing and prevent the printing process.

Fix 1: Check the Jammed Paper

As we mentioned earlier, this error may arise due to paper jamming problems. Hence, first, you need to check if any paper is stuck inside the device. Then, you need to immediately remove that. 

By doing this, the error code 0xf1 can be resolved. Here’s how to implement the steps: 

  • First and foremost, turn the computer off and then press the paper button to remove the jammed paper. 
  • If you see there are torn pieces of paper inside the device, then open the cover of the device and then clear all the affected pieces. 
  • Afterward, reload the paper tray into the sheet feeder. Afterward, press the Paper button once again. 

Now, you can try to print once again to check if the problem is fixed. 

Fix 2: Run the Printer Troubleshooter Tool

You can solve this error easily by running the Printer Troubleshooting tool. To run this, you can take a quick glance at the steps below: 

  1. First of all, open the Control Panel by going to the Start menu. 
  2. Afterward, navigate to the Troubleshooting category. Here, you will see all the options on the left pane of the screen. 
  3. Next, select the ‘Printers’ option from the list.
  4. Wait for a few seconds until the troubleshooting process running. 

Once the troubleshooting process completes, you can try to print to check whether the error is resolved. 

Fix 3: Move the Printer Head Assembly

According to some users, they have fixed this error easily by moving the Printer Head assembly in a particular direction. Henceforth, in this method, at first, we will turn the device Off and move the Printer Head Assembly. 

You can do this by following the steps stated below: 

  1. First of all, disconnect the power cable from the power outlet to turn the device Off. 
  2. Afterward, raise the lid of the device. Then, move the Printer Head Assembly to the left. 
  3. Thereafter, move the Printer Head Assembly back to the right. 
  4. Now, turn the printer On and check if the error still occurs. 
  5. If you see that the error still appears, then repeat this process for 5-6 times.
